Dream Chaser Aerials have been master photographers and cinematographers for over 30 years. We are fully insured and have a FAA Part 107 Certificate.

Video and film production are visual art forms. Knowing when, why and how to move a camera are critical to creating images that have impact. More importantly, understanding light and how to control and use it to create stunning images is what differentiates “camera operators” from “cinematographers”. Dream Chaser Aerials’ chief pilot and cinematographer Michael Routh has been recognized as one of the best nature photographers in the country. He is a “master of light” when using a camera outdoors.  He is also an accomplished video producer, director and cinematographer (director of photography).

Michael Routh will work with a client to identify the most important areas of their location to be captured with our aerial photography and video services. He will do a location scout of our client’s property first for safety reasons to identify any possible obstructions or hazards. He will then review the FAA aviation sectional charts for the location to confirm that it is legal to commercially fly a drone at the locations. After he has confirmed that it is legal to commercially fly a drone at the location. He will then identify when the ideal light is at the location to create stunning imagery.
